Longest Game
Last Saturday seemed like a long match.
It may have been an off night for all of us, or it may have been that we just didn't have much luck.
First four ends were fun, and we were tied up at the end of the fourth, then our strategy (such as it was) or our shot-making didn't quite seem to work out.
So, I started thinking about "long matches" and predictably, it's in the Guinness Book of World Records -- or soon will be.
The record is held by rinks from the Coaldale Granite Club (Alberta, Canada), where they played 208 ends, with the Rough Cookies winning 178 to 172.
The record? 57 hours and 50 seconds.
Maybe our match wasn't that long after all.
